'General Cherry' allocated 3.3 million UAH for veteran's family relocation
The Ukrainian defense-tech company 'General Cherry' has provided 3.3 million UAH to assist the large Kislenko family from Mariupol in settling into a new home in the Lviv region. The company also procured a minivan and necessary household appliances for them.
The information was detailed by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement from 'General Cherry FPV' on Facebook.
Oleh Kislenko, a veteran who served in 2016-2019, along with his wife, raised ten children in a family-type children's home (DBST). Six of these children continue to live with their parents.
Relocation and New Home
After their home in Mariupol was destroyed in 2022 due to the full-scale invasion, the family relocated to Germany. However, in 2025, they decided to return to Ukraine.
Upon a request from Vadym Boychenko, the head of the Mariupol City Military Administration (MVA), the family was provided with a house in the village of Nezhukhov, Lviv region, funded by state subsidies.
The company 'General Cherry' contributed 3.3 million UAH towards the home's setup. The family was presented with a Renault Trafic minivan, a tumble dryer, air conditioners, a vacuum cleaner, a food processor, and laptops for the children.
Additionally, the company supplied a cement mixer, construction tools, and equipment for garden maintenance.
Andriy Lavrenovych, Chief People Officer at 'General Cherry', personally handed over the keys to the minivan.
Community Support and Future Plans
The assistance was organized as part of the 'Return of DBST from Abroad' project, in collaboration with the Mariupol City Military Administration and the Donetsk and Lviv Regional State Administrations.
Laptops were presented to the children by Vadym Boychenko and Yulia Ryzhakova from the Donetsk Regional State Administration, as well as Yana Shumovetska from the 1st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Azov'.
While Mariupol remains temporarily occupied, the large Kislenko family is establishing their life in their new location in the Lviv region.
Previously, it was reported that 'General Cherry' and Patria would collaborate on drone production for Ukraine and Europe.
